๐ ๏ธ Setup Requirements: What We Need From You
To get the neon bubbles flowing smoothly, please ensure your location meets these simple requirements:
- Timing: Setup must take place at dusk or after dark for the glow effects to work properly.
- Space: A minimum flat area of 20x20 feet is recommended. We can set up on grass, pavement, or concrete.
- Water Source: A standard outdoor water spigot with a hose hookup must be available within 100 feet of the setup area.
- Power: A standard, grounded 3-prong electrical outlet (preferably a 20-amp dedicated circuit) within 50 to 100 feet of the party zone to run the cannon and UV lighting safely.
- Clearance: Ensure the area is free of stumps, rocks, holes, or low-hanging tree branches.
โ ๏ธ Essential Safety Rules
For the safety of all guests and the protection of our professional equipment, the following rules apply:
- Visibility: Avoid running blindly through the foam, as visibility is naturally reduced in dark or neon environments.
- No Rough Play: No pushing, shoving, or diving into the foam. No flips or climbing on any equipment or UV light stands.
- Attire: We recommend white or neon swimsuits and lightweight t-shirts to maximize the glow effect! Rubber-soled shoes or water shoes are required to prevent slipping.
- Items to Avoid: No food, drinks, gum, or glass allowed in the foam zone.
- Personal Gear: Remove jewelry, glasses, hair clips, and sharp objects before entering.
- Electronics: Keep all cell phones and non-waterproof electronics well away from the wet area.
๐งผ Pro Tips for a Great Experience
- Wear Neon or White: Encourage guests to wear neon colors or bright white so they glow intensely under our professional UV lights!
- Dry-Off Station: Set up a nearby, well-lit area with towels so guests can dry off safely and quickly after they leave the foam.
- Weather Watch: For safety, we cannot operate in heavy rain, lightning, or winds exceeding 15 mph.
- Grass-Friendly: Our professional glow foam solution is organic, hypoallergenic, and biodegradable, making it completely safe for your lawn, pets, and skin. It will not stain clothing.
๐ Approved Setup Surfaces
To ensure a safe and successful event, Bounce Houses Ohio can set up our high-output foam cannons on the following flat, clear surfaces:
- Grass & Lawns (Best Option): Natural grass provides the best traction and easily absorbs the foam solution.
- Artificial Turf: Provides excellent grip and completely avoids any mud.
- Concrete & Asphalt: Great for driveways and patios, though guests must avoid running as smooth surfaces get slippery when wet.
๐ซ Prohibited Setup Areas
We cannot set up our equipment on the following surfaces due to safety and mud hazards:
- Dirt, loose mud, or sand.
- Gravel, crushed stone, or wood mulch (sharp hazards for bare/wet feet).
- Sloped or unlevel hills.
- Indoor flooring (hardwood, tile, or laminate).
๐ฅ Party Capacity & Guest Limits
Our standard 20x20 foot foam zone safely accommodates up to 25–30 kids playing at one time.
- For Larger Crowds: If your guest count exceeds 30, we recommend rotating the children into the foam in timed, organized groups (e.g., 10–15 minute heats) so everyone gets maximum space to play safely.
๐ Is the Glow Foam Safe for Eyes and Skin?
Yes! Our professional neon foam solution is 100% hypoallergenic, tear-free, and organic. It is formulated to be as gentle on the eyes and skin as baby shampoo.
- Pro Tip for Sensitive Eyes: While the foam is completely safe and non-irritating, some children can still feel overwhelmed if they get a face full of bubbles. We highly recommend having kids wear swim goggles so they can dive right into the deepest parts of the foam pile without any distraction!
- Quick Fix: Keep a clean towel nearby at a dry-off station to wipe away stray bubbles if a child gets overwhelmed.
